Although there's still a stretch of summer left, I've already made the mental switch to fall. Every year around this time, I find myself gravitating toward richer colors, softer layers, and the excitement of a new season (my favorite one) just around the corner. My Pinterest boards have essentially become a collection of suede bags, Ralph Lauren autumn campaigns, and lived-in denim looks, while my saved posts have become an endless stream of outfit inspiration and new fall arrivals. And as a fashion lover, I wouldn't have it any other way.

So, consider this a collection of everything inspiring me these days. From the clothes I'm reaching for to the beauty favorites, movies, and little rituals getting me excited for the season ahead.

Even though I'm looking ahead to fall, I'm not quite ready to pack away everything that makes summer dressing so effortless. Instead, I've found myself leaning into pieces that feel like they're bridging the gap between the two seasons. Cotton dresses are still in heavy rotation, while relaxed denim has started to make more appearances in my everyday looks. Ballet flats are getting just as much wear as my sandals, and my loafers have slowly worked their way back into the mix. Even my summer bags are getting a few last outings before my suede and leather favorites inevitably take over.

And then there are all the little styling details I’ve been saving lately, like:

  • sheer scarves over the shoulders
  • slim vintage watches
  • suede belts
  • silk scarves tied onto handbags
  • cinched blazers over dresses or paired with skirts
  • a chunky knit with boxer shorts at home
  • trench coat over athletic wear
  • baby tee with tailored trousers

I'm easily drawn to warmer tones like chocolate brown and burgundy, especially through accessories and layering pieces that can be worn well beyond one season. As new collections continue to drop, there are a handful of brands I always check first. Sézane continues to create styles that feel feminine, timeless, and easy to incorporate into an everyday wardrobe, while Posse makes me want to live in linen well into September. Faithfull the Brand always captures that effortless, vacation-inspired feeling with styles that feel relaxed yet thoughtfully designed, and J.Crew has been putting out some of my favorite elevated basics lately. Then there are the classics I come back to every season: Ralph Lauren for that timeless East Coast charm, Good American for denim that feels as good as it looks, and COS for understated styles and staples that never feel tied to just one season. And if you want to shop along with me, I’m keeping all my latest finds and recs over on my ShopMy, linked here for easy browsing.

My Pinterest boards have started to reflect the same shift through deeper color palettes, bronzed makeup looks, and the return of prints and patterns that always feel synonymous with fall. More than a specific aesthetic, I’ve been drawn to the feeling behind these photos: that slower, cozier pace that seems to come with the season. The kind of days that feel a little less rushed, with more time for cozy mornings and all the things that make fall feel so nostalgic.

Of course, it’s not just the outfits, makeup inspo, and mood boards that make me excited for fall. It’s the little rituals that come along with it, too, from lighting a new seasonal candle while doing my skincare to trying new recipes or settling in with a blanket and a good book. I’ve also always loved the idea of matching certain movies and shows to different seasons. And right now, I’m on season two of The O.C. (the pilot was perfection, and I’ve been completely hooked since starting it in June). Earlier this year, I watched Veronica Mars for the first time and was immediately obsessed, though I think it’s one I’d especially recommend saving for fall. Certain movies and shows just feel made for a specific time of year, and these are the ones I’ll be turning to all season long:

  • Good Will Hunting
  • Derry Girls
  • When Harry Met Sally
  • Practical Magic
  • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (and yes, all the rest)
  • Gossip Girl
  • Moonstruck
  • Breakfast at Tiffany's
  • Pride and Prejudice (the 2005 version, always)
  • You've Got Mail
  • Billy Elliot
  • Gilmore Girls
  • Mona Lisa Smile
  • Scandal
  • Girlfriends (season 4 is my cutoff)
  • One Fine Day
  • Clueless
  • Dead Poets Society
  • Barbie: Princess Charm School
  • The Phantom of the Opera
  • Alice in Wonderland
  • Sleepy Hollow
  • The Addams Family
  • Legally Blonde
  • Fantastic Mr. Fox
  • Crimson Peak
  • 10 Things I Hate About You
  • Coraline
  • The Devil Wears Prada

And while I’m always happy to revisit old favorites, there are a couple of newer releases I’m already looking forward to. I finally saw Spider-Man: Brand New Day this week and absolutely loved it, truly a 10/10 for me. But I’m also really looking forward to the Sense and Sensibility remake coming out this October. I have such a soft spot for the original, so I’m very curious to see what they do with it. And then there’s The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, which I already know is going to be so good and, simultaneously, completely heartbreaking. I’m excited for it, but I also feel like I need to emotionally prepare myself a little first.

I think I’ve always been someone who loves having little things sprinkled throughout the year to look forward to. And a seasonal shift just gives us another excuse to slow down, revisit old favorites, discover something new, and make space for the different things that bring us joy.

With warmer days ahead, I’ve found myself fully shifting into a summer mindset: breathable fabrics, elevated everyday basics, statement accessories, and a few vacation-ready finds that feel just as good for city days as they do for weekends away. Alongside that shift in wardrobe, my beauty routine naturally changes a bit, with an emphasis on radiant and refreshed skin. I’ve also been leaning more into wellness habits that feel easy and grounding, like slower mornings, staying hydrated, and small rituals that make everything feel a bit more balanced and intentional.

This is essentially a running edit of everything I’m currently eyeing for the season ahead, fashion pieces I keep saving, beauty staples I’m reaching for more, and wellness favorites that I keep coming back to each summer. Think easy linen sets, woven textures, soft neutrals, and beauty essentials that lean into a natural, sun-kissed glow. Have a look below, and hopefully it inspires you for the season ahead.

There is always that one piece that quietly becomes the anchor of your wardrobe each season, and this spring, for me, it's the east-west shoulder bag. Sleek, minimal, and effortlessly cool, it's the accessory I keep reaching for whether I'm heading out in denim and a tee or pulling together something a bit more polished.

While I will always have a soft spot for a classic black leather bag, the range of colors, textures, and styles right now makes the trend feel especially worth exploring. From soft suedes to statement buckle details, there is something for every kind of look. I pulled together a few standout east-west bags ahead that work just as well with everyday wear as they do with more elevated looks.

This was one of those outfits that felt a bit incomplete until the very last second. Swapping in the east-west bag and ballet heels pulled everything together in a way that felt simple but considered.

If you are still thinking about adding one to your rotation, these are a few more styles worth exploring. Consider this your extended edit of east-west bags to have on your radar.

With spring finally here, I’ve been craving outfits that feel a little lighter, a little elevated, and a lot less complicated. What I keep coming back to are pieces that don’t require much second-guessing, but still come together in a way that feels thoughtfully styled. It’s less about reinventing my wardrobe and more about leaning into combinations that already work, just styled in a way that feels fresh for the season.

Below, I’ve rounded up four spring outfit combinations that I’m constantly coming back to. Each one is simple, versatile, and easy to recreate, whether you’re getting dressed for everyday plans or something a bit more put together. For easy reference, I’ve also linked the following looks on ShopMy in case you want to shop any of the pieces I’m wearing.

Tailored but unfussy, this pairing is all about balance. A structured denim tube top works seamlessly with pinstripe wide-leg trousers, while subtle jewelry accents and ballet heels keep the look elevated and wearable.

This is the kind of outfit that feels made for festival season. The fluidity of a satin midi dress paired with cowgirl boots creates an easy contrast that feels relaxed, a little unexpected, and perfectly timed for the months ahead.

An effortless everyday uniform. A babydoll top keeps things light and relaxed for warmer weather, while wide-leg denim and loafers create a more structured contrast in a way that feels easy but still pulled together.

This is an easy way to make a simple dress feel a little more styled. A vest adds dimension to a satin midi dress, while ballet flats and a shoulder bag tap into the easy, layered dressing that’s defining spring wardrobes right now.

What we consider chic often lives somewhere between personal instinct, taste, and intention. I find it's one of those qualities many people can recognize instantly, yet struggle to fully define. In many ways, it feels like a moving target, shaped by mood, setting, style, and the person embodying it. That elusive je ne sais quoi has always felt a little less about accumulating things and more about personal instincts: a quiet confidence, an ease, an understanding of self. And yet, I’d be lying if I said an impeccably styled look or a signature fragrance couldn’t get you at least half of the way there.

So, the following list was inspired by a fun trend I kept seeing floating around on socials, but it immediately transported me somewhere more personal. I was also reminded of my childhood, watching my mom and women around me, and quietly taking note of the way they carried themselves. At the same time, I was just as captivated by Audrey Hepburn movies, completely absorbed in the old-Hollywood sense of style and grace her characters embodied. Then there were the hours spent scrolling endlessly through Pinterest and Polyvore, saving outfits and curating little worlds of what I thought chic looked like at the time. Looking back, those influences evolved over time, shaping my personal style and what I’m drawn to.

Ahead, I’m sharing the fashion, beauty, and everyday essentials that feel incredibly chic to me. I’d love to know what makes your list, too.

There’s something about the shift into spring that makes getting dressed feel exciting again. Maybe it’s the warmer weather or the longer days, but I always find myself drawn to pieces that feel more relaxed and a little more playful. Whenever I think about skirts this time of year, my mind goes straight to Carrie Bradshaw. Between the tulle moment on the streets of New York and the countless midi and maxi skirts she styled with everything from heels to simple tanks, she made skirts feel fun, expressive, and completely personal.

With a new season also comes the temptation to overhaul your entire wardrobe. Trust me, I know the feeling. But refreshing your closet lineup doesn't always mean starting from scratch. Sometimes it just means introducing a few pieces that shift the way you style what you already own. One of my favorite ways to do that every spring is by stepping out of my usual jeans and trousers routine and reaching for skirts instead. I have always loved a good midi or maxi skirt this time of year. They move beautifully, pair easily with everything from camis and blazers to simple tees, and instantly make an outfit feel fresh for the season. And the best part is that there are so many variations to play with. Satin maxis, linen midi skirts, drop-waist silhouettes, suede styles, and classic A-line shapes all bring something slightly different to the table. Even small details like polka dots, pleats, asymmetrical hems, or textured fabrics can completely change the mood of a look.

Ahead, I’m breaking down a few of the skirt styles that are perfect for spring, along with simple ways to style each one this season. Think of it as a little inspiration to step outside the denim routine and give your wardrobe a fresh seasonal update.

Satin maxis are a spring staple that instantly elevate any outfit. Neutral shades are great for versatility, but don’t be afraid to mix in a pastel or a bolder color, and one with delicate lace trim adds an unexpected feminine touch. These skirts look amazing paired with heels and a blazer, or with a blouse, halter, or strapless top for a chic, understated charm. It’s one of those skirt styles that feels polished without feeling overly formal, making it ideal for day-to-night outfits.

A-line maxi skirts work beautifully with a tailored blazer, creating a look that can easily work for a corporate setting. The structured top balances the flow of the skirt, making it feel purposeful and put-together without being stiff. Drop-waist skirts, on the other hand, pair effortlessly with a knit tank for a more relaxed outfit, perfect for weekend outings or brunch dates. Linen midi skirts look amazing with a cami top or a lightweight knit, and polka-dot skirts are such a springtime classic. Ballet flats or kitten heels complete each of these looks, keeping them practical and stylish throughout the season.

Skirts with asymmetrical hems or fun prints are a great way to make a statement. A simple trick is to pull one color from the print to anchor the rest of your outfit, from the top to your accessories. Textured skirts, like a pleated maxi or a suede style, work well with a structured top, while an embellished mini skirt pairs beautifully with an off-shoulder top or matching cami. Whichever way you wear it, finish the look with a cute clutch and heels for a perfectly styled look.

When I’m getting ready for a trip, I usually start with a moodboard. I love pulling together a few images that capture the overall feel I’m going for, whether that means breezy coastal outfits, polished city looks, or relaxed pieces that still feel elevated. It helps me visualize how everything will come together before I even start packing, and it makes planning outfits part of the fun.

From there, I focus on bringing pieces that can be styled in multiple ways. A few dresses, versatile skirts, easy tops, and accessories that work with several outfits can go surprisingly far. Mixing and matching becomes effortless, and it also leaves room in my suitcase for anything special I might find along the way.

Packing this way keeps things simple without sacrificing style. Instead of overthinking what to wear each day, I know the pieces I’ve brought already work together, which makes getting dressed while traveling feel easy and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a little outfit inspiration for your next getaway, I also put together a collection of pieces I love on ShopMy. Below, I’m sharing four vacation looks I can't wait to recreate.

Lightweight fabrics and easy silhouettes are usually the foundation of my travel wardrobe. I gravitate toward natural, breathable materials like linen, cotton, and light silk because they keep me comfortable in warm weather and don’t feel restrictive while exploring. One combination I reach for often is a simple cami paired with a flowing maxi skirt and kitten heels. It’s the kind of base outfit that can easily be styled differently throughout the day. In the morning, it feels breezy and relaxed for walking around a new city or stopping for coffee. Later on, a quick refresh with a structured bag, a delicate layer of jewelry, or a change of shoes can make the look feel more polished for a casual dinner.

A midi dress is another piece I almost always pack. It’s the kind of item that requires very little styling while still looking thoughtful. Paired with ballet flats and a delicate necklace, it works beautifully for daytime plans like visiting local shops, strolling through outdoor markets, or meeting friends for lunch. I actually wore this one during my trip to the South of France last summer, and it turned out to be one of the most useful pieces I brought. It was comfortable enough for a long afternoon of exploring with family, but still felt polished when we stopped for lunch along the way.

A maxi dress is another item that always makes its way into my suitcase when I'm going on vacation. I love how the long hemline adds a touch of drama, making it perfect for moments when I want to feel a little more dressed up. I usually pair it with minimalist jewelry and heels, saving it for a fancier dinner or an evening out during vacation.

Layering pieces also makes a huge difference when packing light. Even in warm destinations, having one structured layer can completely change the feel of an outfit. A sculpted denim jacket is one of my favorite options because it adds a relaxed element while still giving shape to the look. I loved pairing it with a crop top and a maxi skirt, then finishing the outfit with a shoulder bag and kitten heels on one of my last trips.

At the end of the day, the best travel outfits are the ones that allow you to enjoy the moment you’re in. Whether that’s wandering through a new city, sharing a long lunch with friends, or heading out for dinner after a full day of exploring, having pieces that feel comfortable and polished makes the entire experience that much better.

Getting dressed becomes so much easier when you have a few combinations you can rely on. Instead of reinventing the wheel every morning, I like to think in outfit formulas. These are pairings that consistently feel balanced, flattering, and versatile enough to take you from coffee meetings to dinner plans without a full outfit change. Your mid-twenties are often a transitional style phase. You may want to look more put-together than your college years, but still feel like yourself. The key is mixing structured pieces with relaxed staples and choosing silhouettes that create shape without feeling stiff.

When I want an outfit that balances structure and ease, I turn to a sculpted blazer paired with high-rise jeans. There is a reason this pairing works so well. A sculpted blazer adds definition through the tailored shoulders and waist, which instantly creates shape. When you combine that structure with jeans, you get contrast. The denim keeps the look grounded and wearable, while the tailored top layer brings focus and balance. The silhouette is especially flattering because it highlights the waist and elongates the legs. A slightly nipped-in blazer paired with high-rise denim creates a long line from hip to hem. Adding a mid-heel boot enhances that length without sacrificing comfort, making it practical for everyday wear. Together, they strike a middle ground that feels appropriate for work, casual meetings, or weekend outings.

Styling notes: Keep accessories streamlined. A sleek boot, simple necklace, or structured handbag maintains cohesion. If you want to dress it down, swap the heel for flats or a minimalist sneaker.

Double denim has become another one of my favorite daytime looks. When done thoughtfully, it feels modern and confident rather than overly coordinated. A denim jacket with a slightly cinched or sculpted shape works especially well with wide-leg jeans. Because the jacket defines the waist, it balances the volume of the pants and prevents the outfit from feeling boxy. The key is proportion. Fitted or shaped on top, relaxed on the bottom.

For a contemporary take, consider separates in a darker wash. Styling a dark-wash jean jacket with matching wide-leg pants, sunglasses, and ballet flats gives this quintessential outfit formula a fresh update. The monochromatic denim creates a streamlined effect, while the flats keep it grounded and wearable. The classic Canadian tuxedo works because it's cohesive. Matching or closely related washes create a column of color, which elongates the body and instantly elevates the look with minimal fuss. When you break it up with thoughtful accessories, the look feels styled rather than accidental.

Styling notes: For a layered winter approach, a long wool coat over the denim set creates both warmth and dimension. Layering a thin turtleneck underneath and finishing with heeled ankle boots adds another cozy layer. To add visual interest, opting for a leather belt and pointed-toe flats introduces subtle contrast, breaking up the denim. Finishing the look with a low bun and a structured shoulder bag gives a clean, polished feel that works perfectly for daytime outings.

Beyond these outfit formulas, a few winter staples can anchor your wardrobe and make getting dressed a lot easier. A long, tailored wool coat instantly elevates whatever you’re wearing underneath. At the same time, a well-structured knit sweater with a defined neckline or subtle detail pairs effortlessly with denim, trousers, or skirts while keeping you warm. Mid-heeled boots are practical yet flattering and work with straight-leg, wide-leg, or cropped denim. And a structured shoulder bag can pull any outfit together.

In your mid-twenties, style often becomes less about chasing trends and more about understanding what consistently works for your body and lifestyle. When you build around silhouettes that flatter and staples that layer well, reliable combinations start to take shape. These outfit formulas allow you to experiment within a framework rather than starting over each time you open your closet. And just like that, the result is a wardrobe that feels elevated, wearable, and ready for wherever the day leads.

This winter, I've been gravitating toward pieces that make getting dressed feel effortless, even on the coldest days. When layers are non-negotiable, reliable accessories make a real difference. The bag I've been reaching for lately is this Everyday Shoulder Bag from Abercrombie & Fitch, and it has a woven, sculptural look that feels similar to the iconic Bottega Veneta silhouette. It always feels practical and works across different outfits without extra effort.

I find myself reaching for it on busy city days, especially when I'm moving between meetings and long stretches out of the house. It holds my daily essentials without losing its shape, which helps everything stay easy to find. That alone makes a difference whenever I'm in a rush. Another reason it stays in regular rotation is versatility. I always look for bags that can move between casual and polished outfits without feeling out of place, and this one pairs easily with wool coats, puffers, knits, and tailored separates.

If you're looking to add a new structured everyday bag to your wardrobe, I put together a curated mix of similar bags below. The selection includes options with the same versatile feel, so you can find one that fits your own wardrobe and daily routine.

Traveling always feels a little smoother when I have a few reliable bags with me. No matter the destination, having the right mix of functional and versatile pieces makes packing feel less chaotic and a lot more intentional. From spontaneous purchases to everyday essentials, these go-to bags help everything stay organized. Below, I’m sharing the bags I reach for most when I travel, along with a few other essentials I’ve saved in my ShopMy collection.

My canvas tote and shoulder bag are the foundation of what I pack. The tote is perfect for grocery runs, day trips, or the inevitable unexpected finds along the way, while the shoulder bag carries me through daily moments. Like exploring a new neighborhood, heading to a café, or enjoying an early dinner. They’re practical without sacrificing style, which makes them easy to reach for again and again.

A good shoulder bag is one of those travel essentials I never overthink once I find the right one. I like packing at least one structured option that feels polished enough for dinners or museum days, along with a softer, more relaxed style for long walks or coffee runs. Brands like Polène, Coach, JW Pei, and Staud strike that balance between style and practicality, offering timeless designs that travel well and pair seamlessly with almost any outfit.

Just as important are the smaller bags that keep everything else in place. My toiletry bag holds travel-size skincare and personal care essentials, while additional cosmetic bags separate makeup, body care, and haircare for easy access in my carry-on. A few thoughtfully chosen bags like these truly keep packing (and traveling) stress-free.

These days, I’ve been keeping my everyday jewelry lineup simple, timeless, and easy to style. The classic gold-hinged bracelet from Aurate New York is a constant for me because I find it works with everything and never feels overdone. When I want a bolder touch, I reach for the Emira bracelet from Brook and Bloom, especially styled over sleeves for a subtle statement moment. My necklace from Mejuri is always in rotation and pairs effortlessly with so many looks. I’m definitely a gold jewelry kind of girl, so most of what I wear leans warm and classic. Some more favorites in my current rotation include the lab-grown morganite tennis bracelet from Aurate New York, a classic mini boyfriend watch from Larsson & Jennings, and the House of Harlow 1960 gold teardrop earrings. If you’re a gold jewelry girl too, these are pieces worth keeping on your radar.

When it comes to building a jewelry collection, I’ve learned that versatility matters just as much as design. Pieces that can move seamlessly from day to night, layer well with others, and hold their own when worn solo are always worth the investment. I look for finishes that feel polished without being flashy. Classic chains and understated shapes are especially appealing because they offer longevity without feeling trend-dependent. The goal is a lineup that you can reach for instinctively, knowing it will elevate whatever you’re wearing. If you’re just starting your collection, focus on a few foundational pieces like a classic gold chain, simple hoops, and a sleek bracelet that you can wear constantly, then build from there with accents that add character, such as a sculptural ear cuff or a pendant necklace. To make it easy to start (or refine) your own lineup, I’ve linked all my current favorites on ShopMy.
